The Center undertakes wide-ranging multidisciplinary activities encompassing specialized technical consulting, organizing environmental conferences and workshops, publishing awareness bulletins, and delivering on-site engineering support to factories and corporations for achieving full regulatory compliance under Egyptian Environmental Law No. 4 of 1994 and its executive amendments.
Its remit extends from operating the national ambient air quality and environmental noise monitoring networks, through accredited laboratory diagnostics and in-plant field surveys, to capacity-building programmes and regional cooperation — the domains detailed below, each with its own page on this site.
