Accredited Air Quality Laboratory under ISO/IEC 17025
The Air Quality Testing Laboratory at CHMESR holds official international accreditation under ISO/IEC 17025 awarded by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC-MRA). This accreditation validates the Center's stringent Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) framework, ensuring unquestioned legal and technical acceptance of test reports by regulatory authorities globally.
Scope of International Accreditation:
- Ambient air criteria pollutant testing (SO2, NO2, CO, O3, PM10, PM2.5).
- Industrial chimney isokinetic emission profiling and power plant flue gas testing.
- Workplace occupational health diagnostics (Leq noise, lighting lux, respirable dust, WBGT heat stress).
- Calibration and verification of gas analyzers and particulate monitors conforming to US-EPA reference methods.
